Emerging Educator’s/Administrator’s Fellowship

Five $$850 fellowships will be awarded to support Thinktank6 participation by emerging teachers and administrators of studio art and design foundations, art theory and art education.
Integrative Teaching International is an intensive educational forum to designed improve college level art + design instruction through dialogue, presentations, and publications. Integrative teaching builds connections between personal creativity and creativity in teaching.
Who is eligible?
1. Current MFA candidates in studio art and design, or recent MFA degree recipients, with at least 1 semester of Foundations teaching experience.
2. Current PhD candidates, or recent PhD degree recipients, with at least 1 semester of teaching experience in art theory, educational theory, or contemporary art practices.
2. Full-time faculty in Studio Art or Design, with at least 1 semester of Foundations teaching experience.
3. Foundations Coordinators, with up to two years of Foundations leadership experience.
Note:
The fellowships, as their title suggests, are intended for emerging educators and administrators. Therefore, preference will be given to applicants with one to five years of teaching experience
What are your responsibilities?
What are your responsibilities? We expect all Fellows to fully engage themselves in the dynamic of ThinkTank sessions. Prior to TT6, you will receive a list of required readings. Participants will be asked to submit two assignment sheets and one syllabus for the ThinkTank Archive, as well as submit a post- conference assessment of their experience. We are still working up the TT6 agenda, so to get an idea of the overall program, check the schedule for ThinkTank 5 here. Please look it over, as you are responsible to attend all sessions to which you have been assigned.
What is the projected ThinkTank format and schedule?
Each Think Tank event is driven by a broad theme that reflects our commitment to exemplary undergraduate education. We strongly encourage you to read up on past TT sessions, and on this year’s theme. We use a mix of facilitated discussions, workshops and presentations, interspersed with informal meals and social interaction.

Prepare One Folder and zip it for Drop Box Delivery:
Carefully review the criteria below to complete this application. Nonconforming applications will not be reviewed. Please do not send e-mails with questions about production or format issues. All other questions should be directed to info@integrativeteaching.org.
Create a folder titled with your name; "First LastName". Send all documents in .doc format; all image in JPG format (no larger than 1024x768px).
- A resume or vitae
- A brief description of your work
- Two letters of recommendation (see specific questions to be addressed by recommender)
- A sample syllabus for a course you have taught, preferably a syllabus that you have prepared
- 7 examples of student work
- 5 examples of your work
- A slide list with brief description of media, size, and date or description of assignment.
How To Zip a file or folder
PC:
- Select the file or folder you want to compress.
- Right click and choose Send To
- Slide Right and choose Compressed (zipped) folder
- Allow the file or folder to compress.
- You should now see an icon with the same name plus a Zip. It may have a zipper on the folder.
MAC:
- Control-click or right-click the folder that will be compressed or zipped.
- On the pop-up contextual menu, choose and click on Create Archive of “file name”.
- A zip format compressed archive of the selected files or folders will be created with a zipper icon. Original files or folders will be left intact without changes.
Deliver the zipped folder to IntegrativeTeaching.org using our Drop Box.

- Enter your name and email address
- Choose your zipped folder from your computer
- Click Upload
