Ten $850 fellowships will be awarded to support participation by emerging teachers and administrators of studio art foundations programs in Thinktank5, to be held at the University of Georgia, Athens.
The Institute for Integrative Teaching (IIT) is an intensive practice-based educational forum to improve college level art & design education through dialogue, and published and web-based media. Integrative teaching creates connections between your personal creativity, a broad and deep resource base of pedagogical technique and theory, and creativity in your teaching.
ThinkTank is a collaborative, hands-on conference that is centered on workshops and face-to-face discussion designed to develop the curriculum of IIT and create connections between emerging and master educators. Both are designed to help junior faculty gain teaching skills, develop professional networks, and better meet NASAD standards.
