Having hosted ThinkTank2 in 2007, The Lamar Dodd School Art is pleased to again sponsor and support ThinkTank4. ThinkTank's mission to reexamine visual thinking, design, collaboration, and engagement in 21st century Foundations is critical to preparing visual arts who are prepared to contribute to our society.

The mission of the Lamar Dodd School of Art is to develop the creative and scholarly potential of its students, to support the faculty in its pursuit of excellence in teaching and research, and to serve the public and professional constituencies. Collaborating with Integrative Teaching International (ITI) and its annualThinkTank conference helps the School achieve all of these goals.

Art and design are important for the quality of life.As the flagship fine arts school in Georgia, the Lamar Dodd School of Art has a responsibility, to not simply prepare its own students, but to assume regional and national leadership roles. ThinkTank is one way that the School of Art canfulfillits mandate to lead.

We look forward to participating in the national dialogue that ThinkTank has initiated and look forward to hosting ThinkTank5 in 2010.
